Our History

As a native of Northern Michigan, I experienced firsthand how small businesses positively impact their local communities. I pursued my passion for Visual Communications by studying at Ferris State University and graduated with a class of 6 people. Eager to experience something “bigger and better” after college, I immediately headed south to Jacksonville and Orlando.

Over the course of three decades, I thrived in the dynamic realm of marketing, working with mid-large-sized businesses throughout Florida. Guided by a commitment to excellence, I honed my skills and played a pivotal role in their success. Yet, as time went on, a strong longing to return to my roots began to tug at me.

Motivated by a sense of nostalgia and a connection to my hometown, I headed back to Northern Michigan to channel my expertise and passion to benefit the very community that shaped me. By merging my wealth of experience with a dedication to supporting local and small enterprises, I strive to make a meaningful impact on the place I call home.

I am excited to leverage my extensive background in marketing to empower small businesses in Northern Michigan. With a strong belief in the potential of local economies and a commitment to fostering growth, I am dedicated to helping businesses flourish with affordable marketing. Together, we can hone your marketing strategy, develop a plan, and give you the support you need to succeed.

EA Marketing is now located in East Jordan and St. Ignace, Michigan. The companies we work with seek a trusted partner they can count on for expert marketing and coaching.

Our Mission

Our company is formed on the core principles of creating positive social and environmental impact. We have a self-regulating business model that is socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility, we can be conscious of the kind of impact we are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental. For our first operating years we will be working toward our B Corp certification and we invite you to follow us along on our journey. B Corp Certification is a global designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials.

Currently we are business partners with World For Good, a social enterprise based in Michigan. This Benefit Corporation focuses on combating human trafficking by providing meaningful employment, providing basic human rights, and giving hope to our most vulnerable. World For Good partners with NGOs around the world that employ women from disadvantaged communities and pay them a fair wage to create beautiful and unique cloth bags from fabric scraps. World for Good sells the bags and uses the money to buy more bags and provide more work – keeping more fabric out of the landfills! Take a look at their beautiful products!
